Lierse S.K have lost their friendly match against the Egyptian Olympic squad. Lierse hosted the U23s who play their last preparation games before they start the Olympic Games in London ed of July.

The Egyptian squad advanced by Ahmed Magdy in the 25th minute, and Emad Meteab added a second goal in the 45th minute, while Lierse's only goal came through the Egyptian Ahmed Samir Farag in the 58th minute from a direct free-kick.

It should be noted that the three Egyptian veterans Aboutrika, Meteab and Fathy took part in the match, while Ahmed Farag, Hussein Yasser and ex-Petrojet Cofe Bekoe represented Lierse.
